Once upon a time it was said to be one of the best engineering college of South Orissa. But the present situation is completely opposite. One of the worst engineering college of the area. Lack of good faculty and campus drive by fake companies made the college reputation down.

It was a good institution in the past but the situation deteriorated rapidly and now its an institute with the reputation of having fake campus and under qualified faculty members. It had and still has the potential to be the best if management focus on the root cause of doing BTech i.e good education and a decent placement..
